Guidelines and grants for regional study days/ conferences
Purpose:
To guide and assist in the planning of regional study days.
Study days have
been shown to be an important way to highlight the work of BAHNON, attract new
membership, and encourage support and networking among regional members.
Planning:
 |
Open a bank account in the
name of individual BAHNON regional/network group with minimum of 2
signatories. |
 |
Apply to BAHNON committee
for a grant of up to £500 maximum. This application will need to be supported
by a business case outlining; aims and objectives of the day, your target
audience, an outline of the planned day, what fee you anticipate charging etc.
(see a sample business case). |

This should be submitted
to the chairperson of BAHNON (refer to BAHNON website for details) |
 |
You will receive a
‘conference pack’ to help with planning. This will include sample copies of;
advertising posters, evaluation forms, certificates of attendance, BAHNON
membership forms, expenditure/income sheet
(you can download this
item now)
etc to assist you. |
After
the event:
 |
Return an expenditure/
income sheet to show profits secured. |
 |
Return the grant to BAHNON
c/o Roy Hicks administrator (details on BAHNON website). |

Write
a short report on the event for the BAHNON newsletter (send to newsletter
editor - details also available on BAHNON website). |
